According to reports Friday afternoon, Immobile, along with his wife Jessica and four-year-old son, were “verbally and physically attacked” by a group of people outside their child’s school in Rome.
The Scarlott Company released a statement on behalf of Immobile condemning the incident.
The incident reportedly occurred following “hate speech by certain journalists who broadcast harsh remarks against Immobile on their social networks.”
