Inter Miami achieved a strong-willed victory over DC United as part of the next round of the regular season MLS — 2:1.
Stroud gave United the lead in the 14th minute. Even before the break, Campana restored parity on the scoreboard.
Miami pulled out three points midway through the second half. The same Campana successfully assisted Suarez. The Uruguayan himself scored a double in the 85th minute.
Ukrainian centerback Miami Sergey Krivtsov entered the field midway through the first half, replacing Freire. For the experienced defender, this was the seventh match this season.
Inter Miami is in first place in the standings, sharing the lead with Club de Foote Montreal. In the next round, Miami will play against the New York Red Bulls on March 23.
