Colombian midfielder, who spent more than three years as a Timão player, turned to the Labor Court to ask for debt payment
Victor Cantilloformer steering wheel of Corinthians, is suing the club in the Labor Court for outstanding issues relating to the payment of FGTS, fines and severance pay. The value is around R$2.7 million, accumulated during the player’s time at black and white.
The Colombian’s businesspeople stated that they tried to reach an agreement with the black and white board, but were unsuccessful. After the disagreement over paying off the debt, the athlete’s staff decided to go to court.

The first hearing on the case was scheduled for April 23, by the judge Jean Marcel Mariano de Oliveira. The club remains silent, as it usually does in cases of legal disputes.
Despite the recent cases, Cantillo had no image rights to settle. Victor stayed at Timão from 2020 until 2023 and, during that time, participated in 118 games and scored two goals.
