Athletistic/Football. Former coach of several Russian clubs Alexander Grigoryan expressed the opinion that Valery Karpin, head coach of Rostov and the Russian national football team, is an ideal candidate for the role of head coach of Spartak Moscow.

Grigoryan claims that Karpin is perfect to work with Spartak because of his experience and understanding of the club’s characteristics. He notes that Karpin himself played for Spartak and is imbued with its spirit, making him an ideal candidate for this position.

Currently, Spartak is coached by Spanish specialist Guillermo Abascal. However, information appeared in the media about a possible replacement of the head coach, which confirms interest in changes in the team’s leadership.
