President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Dukov told that the Middle East greatly appreciates the qualifications of Russian referees and plans to continue involving them in officiating matches in the future.
Earlier, the chairman of the RFU refereeing committee, Pavel Kamantsev, announced the signing of an agreement on cooperation in the field of refereeing with the Saudi Football Federation. Later, a similar agreement was signed with Belarus. Previously, Sergei Karasev, Kirill Levnikov, Sergei Ivanov and others were invited to participate in the matches of the Saudi Arabian championship.
