“Ascoli” defeated Lecco in the home match of the 30th round of the Italian Serie B.
The match ended 4:1 in favor of the hosts, with Fabrizio Caligara scoring twice and Giuseppe Belluschi and David Duris scoring a goal each. Franco Lepore scored for the losers.
This match was the first for Ascoli under management Massimo Carrera , whose appointment was previously announced. The team is in 17th place in the Italian second division standings, with 31 points from 30 matches.
Carrera previously worked for Spartak Moscow, who under his leadership became Russian champions in the 2016/17 season and also won the country’s Super Cup in 2017.
