Athletistic / Football. Bayern striker Harry Kane, despite his injury, will join the England national team for the friendly matches in March. The sporting director of the Munich club, Christoph Freund, spoke about it.
Kane twisted his ankle during the German Bundesliga matchday 26 match against Darmstadt (5:2) and left the field earlier than expected.
“Kane will be examined by the England team. There are doctors there who we can trust. We will work closely with the local federation. Harry will not risk his health under any circumstances,” Freund said , quoted by Bild.
The England team will face Brazil (March 23) and Belgium (March 26) in March.
Harry Kane is currently the undisputed top scorer in the Bundesliga. In 26 matches, the Englishman has scored 31 goals. Bayern, with 60 points, occupies second place in the German championship standings, 10 points behind leader Bayer Leverkusen.
