The blue-and-yellows are preparing for the upcoming match against Bosnia and Herzegovina
National team debutant Ukraine Vladimir Brazhko commented on the preparation of the blue-yellows for the upcoming semi-final of the playoffs of the qualification for the European Championship 2024 against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Acclimatization is going well, the guys are supportive. There was a two-way game, which added a little understanding. If we compare with the youth team, then the style is the same and the scheme is the same, but everything is much faster, everyone works much better with the ball. Of course, it’s more difficult, but you need to get used to this level, to be worthy of representing the country at it.”
“Of course, we were tired after the two-way match, because we played three halves of 25 minutes each, with great intensity. It was a recovery day, tomorrow too. I hope that I will recover well and feel good. Who was more difficult to play against? Against all!”
“It hasn’t come to the analysis of the Bosnians yet. All the guys will come and we will sort it out. Our opponents have a good team, but we need to look at ourselves, not at them, to show our game, our style.”
On March 21, Rebrov’s team will play an away match in the semi-finals of the playoffs against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting will take place in the city of Zenica at the Bilino Pole stadium. Starts at 20:45 local time (21:45 Kyiv time).
If successful, Ukraine will meet the winner of the Israel-Iceland confrontation. The final match will be a “home” match for the blue-yellows and will take place on March 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
The final part of Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
