Athletistic / Football. Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has spoken about his players’ FA Cup quarter-final defeat to Manchester United. According to him, this defeat will not affect his decision to leave the Merseyside club.
“The decision has already been made, it has nothing to do with what is happening now. I’m sorry if I couldn’t explain this to you in an understandable language for so long. Maybe I should try to tell you in German. and you will translate! But I’m not sure it will work better in this case,” Klopp was quoted as saying by Liverpool’s press service.
On March 17 in Manchester, at Old Trafford stadium, Manchester United beat Liverpool. The match ended with the Red Devils winning in overtime with a score of 4:3. In the semi-final of the tournament, the Mancuniens will face Coventry City, who play in the Championship.
Jurgen Klopp has been at Liverpool since the fall of 2015. Together with the Germans, the Merseysiders became champions of England and won the Champions League.
