The 36-year-old will miss the upcoming matches against El Salvador and Costa Rica due to injury.

“Team captain Lionel Messi will be unable to participate in friendly matches in the United States due to a slight hamstring injury in his right leg, received during a match for Inter Miami,” the report says.
