The Russian youth team (players under the age of 18) will play three friendly matches with Turkish clubs, according to the Russian Football Union (RFU) website.
The national team has arrived in Istanbul for a training camp which will last until March 26. The team’s coaching staff called up 22 players to participate in training camp.
In Türkiye, the Russian team will play against “Besiktas “(March 22), “Galatasaray “(March 23) and the club”Fatih Karagumryuk ” (March 25).
— As for the opponents, of course we would like to play at the national team level, but overall we are happy that the main clubs of Turkey oppose us. The opponents will have players one to two years older, that is, youth teams, ”said senior coach of the Russian national team Denis Pervushin.
