The media football league was established by businessman Nikolai Osipov in 2022. In February 2023, the league created its own team and Dmitry Kuznetsov became its head coach. On March 24, the first friendly match of the national team took place, and the opponent was the RPL club Krylya Sovetov. In February 2024, the first Media League Super Cup took place, in which 2DROTS, Rodina Media, Titan and Broke Boys participated.
