The player’s side is asking for an annual salary of 20 million
Bavaria makes one of the last attempts to retain a defender in its composition Alphonso Davis. According to German media reports, the Munich club offered the Canadian a new contract until 2029 and an annual salary of 11-13 million euros “dirty”, not counting bonuses.
The Canadian’s current agreement with the club expires in the summer of 2025. Previously, Alfonso repeatedly made it clear that he did not intend to renew the contract. However, according to current information, the player’s managers have asked the Bayern management for a fee of 20 million euros per season, but the club will not agree to such conditions.
Bayern’s position now looks like this: Davis and his agent accept the above proposal, or Wroten will consider options for the immediate sale of the player.
The 23-year-old left winger has been courted by Real Madrid for a long time. Not long ago, information appeared that the German champion was ready to part with the player for 50 million euros, but the Blancos are determined to achieve a price reduction, given the imminent end of the player’s current contract.
Davis has been playing for Bayern since the 2018/2019 season – he has won 13 trophies with the German club. Alfonso has scored one goal and provided three assists in 31 appearances for the club in all competitions this season.
Bayern are second in the Bundesliga, 10 points behind Bayer Leverkusen with eight rounds left. Real are confidently leading La Liga with an 8-point lead over Barcelona.
