Kroos returned to the German national team, for which he has not played since 2021. As part of the team, he became world champion, played 106 matches and scored 17 goals. The European Football Championship will take place from June 14 to July 14 in 10 cities in Germany. The Bundesteam will face Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland in the group stage.
“I have not yet thought about whether I will leave the national team again after the European Championships. A lot of things are unclear, we don’t know what will happen after the European Championship. I don’t even have a contract with the club for next season yet. First of all, I have to clarify this,” Kroos said, as quoted by Bayern&Germany on social media.
