Savo Milosevic’s team also trained to take penalties
Head coach Bosnia and Herzegovina national team Savo Milosevic revealed the plan for the game with the national team Ukraine in the semi-finals of the qualifying playoffs European Championship 2024.
“I have already repeated several times that if I did not believe that we could achieve the necessary result, I would not even be here. I think the guys think the same way,” Milosevic said.
“Yes, we trained penalty kicks. It is very important to be prepared for any scenario that may happen.”
“Tomorrow’s match should be fast and productive. My idea is to get to the opponent’s goal as quickly as possible and shoot at it. I’m not a fan of long-term possession of the ball.”
On March 21, Bosnia and Herzegovina will host Ukraine in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs in the city of Zenica at the Bilino Pole stadium. Starts at 20:45 local time (21:45 Kyiv time). The match will be officiated by a German team of referees led by Felix Zweier.
If successful, Ukraine will meet the winner of the Israel-Iceland confrontation. The final match will be a “home” match for the blue-yellows and will take place on March 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
The final part of Euro 2024 will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The matches of the European Championship will be held in arenas in Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Hamburg, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart.
