Former Brazilian striker Robinho was jailed for his role in a gang rape while playing for Milan in 2013.
Italian court found 40-year-old Brazilian man guilty of gang rape and sentenced him Robinho to 9 years in prison. The former Milan player will serve his sentence in Brazil.
Robinho’s defense will appeal the decision and ask him to wait for the appeal to be heard freely, which could delay his arrest. An appeal in this case will also be brought before the Federal Supreme Court of Italy, reports RMC Sport.
