Russian team at the Dynamo stadium in Moscow will play against the national team Serbian teams during a friendly match.
The meeting will take place on Thursday March 21. The match will be broadcast live on the (from 6:30 p.m. Moscow time) and MATCH PREMIER (from 7:55 p.m.) channels.
The teams have met six times in history. In the first head-to-head match in 2008, the Russian team won with a score of 2:1. In the last two Nations League meetings, Russia won once (3:1) and Serbia won the other match (5:0). In total, the Russians have three victories, the Serbs one, and two other matches ended in a draw.
After being suspended from participation in tournaments under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA, the Russians are playing friendly matches. In November, Valery Karpin’s team defeated the Cuban team – 8:0.
The Serbian national team has already qualified for the 2024 European Championship, finishing second in Group G behind the Hungarian team.
