Former Zenit and Rostov defender Ivan Novoseltsev admitted that he might like to resume his football career in the future.
In the 2021/22 season, Novoseltsev played 15 matches for Arsenal in the RPL and scored one goal. The Tula club terminated the contract with the defender in April 2022. The footballer also played for Sochi, Zenit, Rostov, Anzhi, Moscow Torpedo and other clubs.
— Do you have any ideas for continuing your career in football?
— I finished my football career, I tried to build a coaching career, but I put it aside for now. From now on, nothing connects me to football. I skied all winter. But I follow Russian football, because sometimes I am invited to as an expert.
— Will we see Ivan Novoseltsev working in football in the very near future?
– Honestly, you never know what you will want to do tomorrow. I don’t rule out that after a while I work in football in some capacity. I may even want to resume my career, I have that possibility. But in my mind I ended my career,” Novoseltsev, 32, told .
