The Romanian specialist left Dynamo in November 2023
Former coach of Shakhtar Donetsk and Dynamo Kyiv Mircea Lucescu confirmed that he is looking for a new club. At the same time, the Romanian specialist rejected the offer Besiktas.
“I plan to return to coaching with a new club next season. In recent months, I rejected the offer from Besiktas because the time was not right.”
In early November, Lucescu resigned as the head coach of Dynamo Kyiv after a defeat to Shakhtar (0:1). Subsequently, Cluj and Besiktas were interested in the specialist.
According to Romanian journalists, the coach himself is waiting for an offer from the Romanian national team, with whom he would like to work until the end of his career. In December, Mircea was also named among the candidates to become the new coach of Lyon, Romanian second division club Corvinula and Dinamo Zagreb.
