Savo Milosevic took full responsibility for the unsuccessful result in the semi-finals of the Euro 2024 qualifying playoffs.
We played against a very strong opponent, which we managed to hold off for 80 minutes. The head coach of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Savo Milosevic, announced this after the match against the Ukrainian national team.
The specialist also took full responsibility for the unsatisfactory result of the home match of the semi-final of the qualifying playoffs for Euro 2024.
“It’s a bit embarrassing for the boys and how we conceded when we were leading 1-0. Everything was affected by two injuries to two key players. The injuries affected the result, and I don’t think the player for lack of fight and perseverance or skill… We played with very serious opponents.
We completely neutralized them in 80-85 minutes, but, unfortunately, we lacked concentration. All responsibility and blame rests with me and the coaching staff.
I had faith, but I’m glad they saw that they could do more. It was a Euro-level match, and the players showed that they can compete,” said Milosevic on UEFA’s official website.
We remind you that earlier the victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina was commented by the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Sergei Rebrov.
