The Control and Disciplinary Commission of the Russian Football Union (KDK RFU) fined the Moscow team “Spartacus” And “Locomotive” as well as Saint Petersburg “Zenith” based on the results of the Russian Cup playoff matches, according to the RFU website.
“Spartak” was fined 10,000 rubles for the use of pyrotechnics by fans during a meeting with “Orenburg”, “Lokomotiv” will pay 30,000 rubles for chanting obscene language and offensive expressions from spectators during the match with Kaliningrad “Baltika”. Zenit was fined a total of $80,000 for fans’ use of pyrotechnics and insults during a match against the capital’s Dynamo.
“SKA-Khabarovsk” will pay 20,000 rubles for the delay in the start of the match with “Sochi”, Astrakhan “Volgar” was fined 50,000 rubles for inappropriate team behavior (six warnings) during the match with Grozny “Akhmat” .
The CDC also disqualified footballers Andreas Ponce (Akron) and Zaurbek Pliev (Sokol) for aggressive behavior during the 23rd round match of the First League. Both received a two-match suspension (one match is suspended), or a one-year probationary period.
