Spartak midfielder Anton Zinkovski in the remaining matches of the season should assume the role of leader instead of Quincy Promesa, said a former player of the team Alexander Mostovoy .
Promes was arrested in Dubai in mid-March at the request of Dutch prosecutors. In February, an Amsterdam court found the Spartak footballer guilty of drug trafficking and sentenced him to six years in prison; Promes’ defense appealed this decision. Last summer, a 32-year-old Dutch man was sentenced to 18 months in prison for attacking his cousin.
—We probably shouldn’t wait any longer for Promes. This season, for sure. It looks like Quincy’s story in Spartacus is over. Zinkovsky now has a big responsibility: he must replace Promes. Anton needs to improve and reach a new level – there is data for this. He will have to take on the role of attack leader,” Mostovoy said, as quoted by RB Sport.
This season, WORLD RPL Zinkovsky played 19 matches for Spartak and scored 2 goals. After 20 rounds, the capital team ranks sixth in the WORLD RPL rankings with 31 points.
