Midfielder Georgian national team Khvicha Kvaratskhelia shared his emotions after the team qualified for the European Championship.
The Georgian national team defeated the Greek team on penalties (0:0, 4:2 on penalties) in the decisive play-off match and for the first time in its history reached the final part of a major international tournament.
“Euro, we are coming,” wrote the Georgian midfielder from Naples on the social network.
Kvaratskhelia was injured during extra time and was replaced in the 109th minute.
The European Championships in Germany will take place from June 14 to July 14. In the group stage, the Georgian national team will play in Quartet F with teams from Turkey, Czech Republic and Portugal.
