Athletistic / Football. Georgian national team midfielder Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was extremely satisfied with the national team’s qualification for Euro 2024. The leader of the national team danced the lezginka after the victory against Greece.
Kvaratskhelia danced on the locker room table after the match against the Greeks (0:0, 4:2 – on penalties).
For the first time in history, the Georgian national team reached the final of a major international tournament. After the collapse of the USSR, the Georgians began to participate in the UEFA selection for Euro 1996 in England, but never managed to pass the qualifying stage.
At Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany, the Georgians will play in the same quartet with Portugal, the Czech Republic and Turkey. The European Championship will be held from June 14 to July 14 this year.
