UEFA has nominated nominees for the title of the best goal scored in the tournament’s playoffs.
UEFA did not include any of our four goals from the Ukrainian national team in the list of the best goals scored in the tournament playoffs. According to the organization, all the goals obtained by “blue-yellow” are due to labor.
Our team’s rivals found a place on the list of the best. Among the four contenders is the goal against Andrei Lunin performed by Albert Gudmundson. Moreover, the list includes two goals scored by the Icelandic striker. It also included Israel’s goal in the semi-final (his first goal of the match).
Among the other candidates is Pole Jakub Piotrowski, who scored the third goal in the match against Estonia. Also up for the award was a cool free-kick from Wales, which ended with a goal from Nico Williams.
