The German is close to a new one-year deal
Midfielder Toni Kroos will remain part of Reala.
The parties continue to dialogue. However, the club and the player previously agreed to extend the agreement for one season.
Kroos has been with Real Madrid since 2014 and has won 21 trophies with the club, including four European Cups, three La Liga titles, four UEFA Super Cups and five Club World Cups.
His current contract with Blancos runs until this summer. In February, Tony played his 450th match for the Madrid club.
This season, the German midfielder has played in 38 matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s team, scoring one goal and providing seven assists.
Real are confidently leading La Liga, ahead of Barcelona and Girona. Also, Carlo Ancelotti’s team continues to play in the Champions League 2023/24. The Spanish giants will face Manchester City in the quarter finals of the tournament.
