Our national football team will compete in the continental championship for the fourth time in a row.
Participation in the European Football Championship is not only prestigious, but also profitable. This is confirmed by the updated data on the prize fund of the UEFA tournament.
We remind you that the last match of the playoffs of the 2024 European Championship selection took place the previous day. The Ukrainian team won a strong victory against the Icelandic team and reached the final part of the tournament.
In the group stage, the Ukrainian team will play with Belgium, Slovakia, and Romania. The tournament will take place from June 14 to July 14.
Only at the very exit in the last part of the tournament did Ukraine become rich. Each team will receive 9.25 million euros for qualifying for Euro 2024.
However, if our team does not stop there and continues to defeat its opponents, it can earn more.
Payment for participation in the European Championships in Germany – 9.25 million euros;
The bonus for each win in the group stage is 1 million euros, for a draw – 500 thousand;
Passing the 1/8 finals of Euro 2024 – 1.5 million euros;
Qualification for the quarterfinals of the competition – 2.5 million euros;
Qualification for the 1/2 finals of Euro 2024 – 4 million euros;
The vice-champion will receive an additional payment of 5 million euros;
The 2024 European champion will get an additional 8 million euros.
So, the maximum amount that the Ukrainian national team will receive if they become European champions, winning all the matches in the tournament, will be 28.25 million euros.
We remind you that Mikhail Mudrik previously appreciated the winning goal against Iceland.
