Albanian defender of Lokomotiv Mario Mitaï told how Russians are perceived in Western countries.
Mitai moved to “Locomotive” in the summer of 2022 from AEK Athens.
— What were your first impressions of Russia?
— I’ll be honest: I had a stereotype that Russians are stern, harsh and almost always silent. Everyone in the West thinks so. But this myth was shattered on my first day in Russia. Russians are very sincere and friendly people. You just need to find an approach to them, to clearly show that you are your man,” Mitai said according to Sport24.
Lokomotiv has scored 32 points in 20 matches and is in fifth place in the MIR Russian Premier League (RPL) table.
