Athletistic/Football. Former advisor to the former owner of Spartak, Leonid Fedun, Franco Camozzi said in an interview with Match TV that the decision to resign Serbian specialist Vladimir Ivic from the post of head coach of Krasnodar made no sense.

Krasnodar announced the termination of the contract with Ivic on March 13, and Murad Musaev took his place. Ivic coached the team from 2018 to 2021.

“I’m not sure that Krasnodar will remain in the top three after Ivic’s departure, but I am convinced that Vladimir is a qualified coach. The decision to fire him was foolish,” Camozzi said.

When asked if Zenit would become the undisputed champions, Camozzi replied: “It will depend on many factors and other teams.”

After 20 days in the Russian Premier League standings, Zenit occupies first place with 40 points. Krasnodar is in second place with 39 points.
