The fight will take place on June 22 as part of the UFC show in Saudi Arabia. In the main event of the event, former champion Robert Whittaker from Australia will meet Khamzat Chimaev, who represents the UAE, for the title of mandatory middleweight contender.
In his last fight, Lost won a landslide victory over Pole Robert Bryczek at UFC Fight Night 236 in Las Vegas in February. After the fight, Igor, in a short interview, stated his desire to subsequently become the UFC champion.
