Athletistic / Football. The head of the RFU marketing and trade department, Ilya Fimushkin, spoke about the possible return of beer to Russian stadiums
Fimushkin said that from a business perspective, the return of beer to football stadiums is overrated. Revenue from selling the drink directly at the stadium will not be as significant. But he also added that the opportunity to advertise beer seems much more interesting and could bring much more to the clubs. At one time, it was beer producers who played a very important role in our football.
“So we need to consider the form in which the bill could possibly be adopted: selling beer is one thing, but being able to advertise it is another,” said Ilya Fimushkin, head of the marketing and trade department of the RFU.
