Zhadan visited the head of the UAF on behalf of the National Guard unit “Charter”
The president Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andrey Shevchenko met with a poet, writer and singer Sergei Zhadan. The artist visited the head of the UAF on behalf of the unit National Guard “Charter”.
“We greeted the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation with the victory of the national team. Recently Andrei visited our “Charter”, now we have come to him on a courtesy visit,” the poet wrote.
Let us remind you that Shevchenko visited the soldiers of the 13th brigade of the NSU “Charter” in the Kupyansk-Liman direction in mid-March. The head of the UAF thanked the soldiers who defend Ukraine.
Sergei Zhadan has been actively helping the Charter unit for a long time, and a few days ago he announced that he had decided to mobilize into this unit. Also, in August 2022, the poet joined the support of the Tribune of Heroes Foundation, which provides systemic financial support to the families of football fans killed in the war from all over Ukraine.
