Athletistic / Football. Bayern continue to search for a replacement for Thomas Tuchel as the club’s head coach. The Munich team are now considering the candidacy of Aston Villa coach Unai Emery.
As TZ reports, the main candidate for the position of helmsman at Bayern was the current coach of Bayer Leverkusen, Xabi Alonso, but if he leaves the “pharmacists”, he will go to Liverpool. The German super club is therefore now considering other options. Part of the Munich sports club is in favor of Emery’s candidacy.
Note that Unai Emery managed to play at Valencia, Spartak Moscow, Sevilla, PSG, London Arsenal and Villarreal during his career.
It was previously reported that Bayern were also considering Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi.
In February 2024, Bayern announced that Thomas Tuchel would leave the club at the end of the 2023/2024 season. The Munich team risks not becoming German champions for the first time since the 2011/2012 season.
