Goalkeeper of Nizhny Novgorod “Paris NN” Arthur Nigmatulline said he felt the confidence of the team’s head coach Sergey Yuran .
This season, Nigmatulin has played 19 matches, eight of them without conceding a goal.
— From now on, the entire defensive line is made up of Russian players. Is this an important factor in communication on the ground?
— I played in different teams, where there were both foreign and Russian players. I have always found a common language with the defenders, because it is very important to me. The process of “chemistry” and teamwork is important, when you don’t even need to speak – you understand your partner without words. You know what to say to him, which foot to pass the ball to. But the fact that high-quality Russian defenders now play for Paris NN is of course a plus.
— What is Yuran’s contribution to the type of football you currently show?
“He trusts me, that’s the main thing.” Last spring, he trusted me during a difficult period, and for me that is very important. I would also like to mention our goalkeeping coach Alexander Guteev. I worked with him in Volga, we have known each other for more than ten years. Guteev knows me, my character, well. This promotes many movements, squeezes out, as they say, all the juices,” Nigmatullin said, as quoted by Metaratings.ru.
On Saturday, Paris NN will face Kaliningrad Baltika in the match of the 22nd day of the RPL. Watch the live broadcast of the match from 5:15 p.m. on the channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
