Obolon played in the minority throughout the second half
Miner confidently beat Obolon in the 22nd round match Ukrainian Premier League – 3:0.
The Miners scored twice in the first half. Daniil Sikan opened the scoring after a pass from Marjan Shved. Later, the Swede scored himself, taking advantage of a mistake by the home team’s defenders.
Just before the break, Obolon remained in the minority; Sergei Sukhanov received a red card. In the second half, the Miners continued to have the advantage, which was embodied in Shved’s second goal at the end of the meeting.
Shakhtar continues to lead the UPL with 46 points. Obolon is in 13th place with 18 points.
In the next match, the Miners will play Chornomorets in the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup on April 3. Obolon will prepare for the match with Veres in the 23rd round of the UPL, which will take place on April 6.
