Athletistic / Football. Chelsea leaders are in favor of a change of head coach. Since the summer of 2023, this position has been occupied by the Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino.
According to HITC, anonymous players at the London club have called on management to fire Pochettino at the end of the current season. This happened after the match of the 30th day of the Premier League with Burnley (2:2). The Londoners played in the majority for most of the match, but still managed to lose their score advantage. After that, some Chelsea players expressed their dissatisfaction with the coach. They have made it clear to Blues bosses that they would like Pochettino to resign.
Chelsea currently have 40 points and are in 11th place in the Premier League table. Pochettino’s contract with the English club runs until June 30, 2025.
