Midfielder Zarya – about the upcoming match with the white-blues
21-year-old midfielder Zari Alexander Yatsyk commented on the course of the match of the 22nd round of the Ukrainian Premier League, in which his team won victory over Metalist 1925and also shared his expectations from the upcoming match with Dynamo.
— Sasha, congratulations on your victory! Was it difficult to switch to UPL games after the national team matches?
— There was a difficulty and it consisted in returning from Azerbaijan, where our youth team played. The journey home took 23 hours. I think we didn’t have enough time to fully recover. First we flew from Baku to Warsaw, and then we got to Kyiv. Of course, I felt tired. I had cramps in the 80th minute of the match and asked for a replacement.
— Was the victory over Metalist 1925 not easy?
“I think that quite often we could not manage the ball correctly in front of the opponent’s penalty area. Now for us every game is for six points. We want to climb as high as possible in the standings.
— The hero of the match is the Panamanian Guerrero, who distinguished himself twice…
“I think he tries to show his best in every match. He’s probably in slightly better shape in the spring than he was in the fall. Guerrero is an important player for Zorya and we value him.

— Is his winning goal fantastic?
– Something like that. Although shortly before this masterpiece he could still score, he simply missed the ball. It’s OK. He soon recovered.
— On April 4, Zarya will play a match against Dynamo. This will be a missed first round match. Will you, as a football player belonging to Dynamo Kyiv, be able to play at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky?
— No, because that’s how the lease agreement is drawn up. All Dynamo loanees cannot play next Thursday.
— How then to resist Dynamo?
— There are no irreplaceable football players. I think that Zorya can grab points in the game with Dynamo Kyiv.
