Lugansk club takes 12th place in the Premier League standings
Trainer Zari Mladen Bartulovich commented on the team’s performance in the match with Metalist 1925 (2:1) in the 22nd round of the UPL.
“I congratulate our fans and team on an important victory. We really wanted to win. We understood how important it is from a tournament and psychological point of view. It was a long game, two alarms, but the most important thing was the final result. We are very pleased with the victory!”
“Missed goal? The standard is always about concentration. We were given a game. Somewhere they didn’t hear us. Missed it. But we managed to score the second goal. There were a lot of players there, so you can’t blame just one.”
Zorya scored 22 points and ranks 12th in the UPL. On April 4, Zorya in Kyiv will play against Dynamo in the postponed match of the 6th round of the UPL. Next up for Bartulovich’s team is a match with Dnepr-1, which will take place on April 9.
