81 matches took place within the UPL
Central defender Dnepra-1 Alexander Svatok played his 100th official match with the Dnipro team.
The anniversary for the captain of Dnepr-1 was the confrontation with Kolos (2:0) in the 22nd round of the UPL. In the Premier League, Svatok played 81 matches, 16 matches were in European cups, three games were in the Ukrainian Cup.
Svatok became only the fourth player in the club’s history to reach the 100-game mark. Previously, Igor Kogut (176), Sergey Loginov (140) and Alexander Nazarenko (125) overcame this milestone. In the near future, Alexander Pikhalyonok (99 games) and Vladimir Adamyuk (96) may be added to the list of “centurion players”.
The 29-year-old center back has played 23 matches for Dnipro this season in all competitions, scoring one assist.
Dnepr-1 takes third place in the UPL. In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Maksimov’s team will host Zorya on April 9.
