Athletistic / Football. Based on the results of the 22nd round of the 2023/2024 season, the Russian Premier League collected 18 million rubles for charitable purposes. All of this money will be donated to a fund to help those affected by the terrorist attack on Crocus Town Hall.
As the RPL press service notes, the amount of the donation was based on the number of goals scored in the matches of the 22nd round. Each goal scored was worth 1 million rubles. The official bookmaker, general partner of the Russian Premier League, took part in the promotion.
On March 22, in Krasnogorsk (Moscow region), a terrorist attack took place in the Crocus City Hall concert hall before a performance by the rock band Picnic. He has already killed 144 people. March 24 has been declared a national day of mourning in Russia. All matches of the 22nd round of the RPL began with a minute of silence in memory of those who died in this terrible tragedy.
