“At the moment it is too early to talk or even think about a Russian passport. But I know the stories with Malcolm, Claudinho and Mario (Fernandez – Rating Athletistic). For the moment, I am only interested in professional issues directly linked to football. It’s important for me to prove myself at Zenit and achieve something special here. And only then, if circumstances develop in a particular way and everything is favorable for this, why not consider the possibility of obtaining a Russian passport? Everything is possible! But at the moment I’m not thinking about it,” Pedro said, as quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
Pedro became a Zenit player in January 2023. The 18-year-old striker graduated from Brazilian Corinthians. In all kinds of rankings, he is one of the most promising footballers in the world born in 2006.
