Everton may suffer again due to non-compliance FFP.

The club has published its performance report for the 2022/23 season, revealing a total turnover of more than £172 million. However, the Toffees’ losses amounted to more than £89 million, which was added to the losses of the previous two seasons (45 million in the 2021/22 season and 121 million in the 2020/21 season).

Total losses are estimated at more than £330 million. A significant part of the amount is the construction of the team’s new stadium, Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton’s second hearing is currently underway. An official decision that may entail deduction of three pointsexpected April 8.

The Toffees recorded a financial loss of £304m over the three-year period against the Premier League’s £105m cap. The Premier League Commission decided to fine the club ten points in the English Championship. It was reported that the Premier League recommended that the Liverpool club be docked 12 points.

Everton accepted the violation, but appealed the sanction, considering the punishment excessive. As a result, the Appeal Council agreed with two of the nine points on which the Liverpool club appealed the fine and returned four points to the team of Ukrainian Vitaly Mykolenko.

Everton is currently in 16th place in the Premier League standings. The distance from the departure zone is four points. On April 6, Mikolenko’s team will play against Burnley.
