On April 9, Pyatenko’s team will compete away with Croatia
Ukraine women’s national football team confidently beat Kosovo in a nominally home match of the 1st round of the first stage European Championship qualification 2025 – 2:0.
The match took place in Antalya, Turkey at the Mardan Arena. Vladimir Pyatenko’s team managed to realize their advantage twice in the second half of the first half. First, Anna Petrik scored a penalty for a foul on Olga Ovdiychuk, and soon after a set piece, Tamila Khimich picked up the ball in the penalty area and hit the goal with a powerful shot into the top corner.
Subsequently, the opponents tried to oppose the Ukrainians with something and revive the intrigue, but the blue-and-yellows controlled the course of the game and were repeatedly able to bring the score to a big one – good chances were not converted by Ovdiychuk and Inna Glushchenko.
Having started with a victory, Ukraine immediately led the B4 quartet. Four days later, on April 9, Pyatenko’s team will play away against the Croatian national team. The match will take place in Zapresic at the Stadium Ivan Laljak-Ivic arena.
