Andrey acted as an attacking midfielder in the match with Zarya
Winger Dynamo Andrey Yarmolenko spoke about his performance in the match with Zarya (3:0). Andrey played in the position of an attacking midfielder.
“I can play, but you can express yourself in different ways. I don’t know about defense, but as for attack, this position is not new to me. I know what to do and how to play, nothing new. I played as an attacking midfielder many times. Just like he played as a forward or on the flanks of an attack. At my age, playing in any position in front is possible.”
“It’s harder for me to sit in the stands because then I can’t help my teammates with anything. It’s hard to watch everything from the outside, but on the football field you yourself can somehow influence the result.”
Yarmolenko scored an assist in the match with Zorya. This season, the winger has played 11 matches for the Kiev team in all competitions, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
Dynamo is in third place in the UPL with 44 points. Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will play the next match on April 8 against LNZ.
