Rebrov: If it weren’t for the huge price tags, there would be plenty of Ukrainians in the Premier League

The head coach of Al Ain stated his view on the transfer situation in domestic football.

Serhiy Rebrov believes that Ukrainian footballers are at the level of the English Premier League. And the only thing that prevents our players from moving to the European championship is the huge price tag on them. The specialist said this in an interview with Football Hub.

At the same time, the specialist thinks that selling players only for big money is the right strategy.

“Tsygankov, Shaparenko, Zabarny – they all have the opportunity to play in Europe.

If our clubs did not set such high price tags, then Dynamo and Shakhtar players would have moved to teams of such a level as Brentford a long time ago.

Now we have to decide for ourselves what we need: for our players to raise the level of the UPL and their clubs, or immediately sell the player if he is known a little.

Dynamo has a very good policy. If they sell a player, it’s for serious money,” Rebrov said.
