Lesya achieved a strong-willed victory over Ana Bogdan
Lesya Tsurenko won Anu Bogdan in the first match of the confrontation Ukraine – Romania in qualification Billie Jean King Cup. The tennis players spent just over two hours on the court.
In the first set, Lesya lost all four games on her serve, making three breaks in response – 3:6. In the second game, the Romanian tennis player did not win a single game on her serve – 2:6. In the decisive third set, Tsurenko left her opponent no chance – 6:0.
Today in the second fight Elina Svitolina and Jacqueline Christian will meet. Starts no earlier than 10:45 p.m.
On Saturday, April 13, meetings between Svitolina and Bogdan and Tsurenko and Christian are scheduled. Also tomorrow there will be a doubles match, where Ukraine will be represented by Lyudmila and Nadezhda Kichenok, and Romania by Anca Todoni and Mara Gae.
