Chelsea destroyed Everton with four goals from Palmer, Mudryk played 80 minutes, Mikolenko played the whole match

Mikhail was active, but only received a yellow card

Chelsea left no stone unturned Everton in the home match of the 33rd round English Premier League – 6:0.

The meeting was a benefit for midfielder Cole Palmer, who scored a classic hat-trick in the first half hour of the game, scoring with both feet and his head.

First, the 21-year-old player skillfully shot into the corner after a wall with Nicholas Jackson, then finished off after Jackson’s shot and Jordan Pickford’s save, after which he took advantage of a royal gift from the visiting goalkeeper and sent a parachute into the empty net.

Before the break, Jackson also scored, delivering a high-quality roundhouse kick into the corner. The score was finally closed in the second half. Palmer converted the penalty and became equal in the list of Premier League scorers with Erling Haaland – now both have 20 goals scored. In total, Cole has 34 goals in 40 matches this season.

In the last minute, the substitute players organized the sixth goal. Ben Chilwell came down the left and shot from a tight angle, Pickford saved poorly and 20-year-old Alfie Gilchrist scored his first senior goal.

Mikhail Mudrik started and played 80 minutes. He was active, took part in the second goal (Jackson hit after his pass), and in the second half he almost scored an assist, but Palmer did not realize a one-on-one opportunity in that episode. Mikhail also has a yellow card, earned for a foul in the center of the field.

Vitaly Mikolenko played the entire match for Everton. He was not directly to blame for the goals; he generally coped with his immediate opponent, Nodi Madueke.

Chelsea remained in ninth place, but due to the lost points they can qualify for the European Cup zone. Everton remained 16th (two points from the relegation zone), and also sharply worsened their goal difference, which could be important in the fight for survival.

In the next round, the Toffees will host direct rival Nottingham, and the Blues will play in an away derby against Arsenal. Before that, on April 20, Mauricio Pochettino’s team will meet Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-finals.
