Former midfielder of Dnepr and Veres Bliznichenko moved to Zvyagel

Andrey played the first half of the season in the UPL, but left the Rivne club in January

PFC Zvyagel announced the signing of a midfielder Andrey Bliznichenkowho previously played in the UPL for Dnieper, Ingulets And Veresand also played in Moldova and Turkey.

The 29-year-old football player returned to the city of which he is a native (until 2022, Zvyagel was called Novograd-Volynsky). He started in the Zaporizhzhya Metallurg system, after which he moved to Dnepr, where he was already a first-team player at the age of 20.

Next in Bliznichenko’s career were Turkish Karabükspor and Moldavian Sheriff (2019 – 2021). After a short stay in Ingulets (2022), Andrey became a Veres player. At the end of the 2022/23 season, Bliznichenko became one of the top scorers of the Rivne team, scoring five goals.

In the new season, the midfielder played 11 matches in all competitions and scored one goal. Andrei missed some of the fights due to injury. In December, Veres put the player up for transfer, and in January terminated his contract early by agreement of the parties.

Zvyagel is in second place in the Second League standings, behind YUKSA in terms of additional indicators and at the same time having a match in hand. On April 17, Mykola Gibalyuk’s team will host Karpaty-2.
