George believes that he can surprise the Ukrainian in the ring
Australian boxer George Kambosos commented on the upcoming fight with the Ukrainian ex-world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko.
“We have our own aces up our sleeves. Should we bully him? We’ll have to wait and see.”
“Do we need to use our speed? We’ll also have to wait and see. There are a lot of moving parts in this game, but we will be ready to adapt.”
“This will be an unforgettable fight. I only think about Lomachenko. This guy is one of the greatest champions of all time, a future Hall of Famer. So I’m preparing for the best Lomachenko on May 12th.”
Earlier, Kambosos said that he analyzed the fight between Lomachenko and Devin Haney for the title of absolute world champion. The Australian believes that there are “holes” in the Ukrainian’s actions, and he is ready to demonstrate them.
The fight between Vasily and George for the vacant IBF lightweight belt will take place on May 12. The event, which also includes two undercard fights, will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, starting at approximately 5 a.m. Kyiv time.
Let us remember that in May 2023, Lomachenko lost to Devin Haney in a fight for the title of absolute world champion. In turn, Kambosos defeated Briton Maxi Hughes in his last fight, winning the IBO lightweight title.
