Defender “Spartacus” Gueorgui Djikia appeared on the field in the second leg of the semi-final of the RPL FONBET Russian Cup with “Zenith”.
The footballer came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute of the match. Alexander Sobolev handed him the captain’s armband. Jikia first played for Spartak after the resignation of Spaniard Guillermo Abascal from the post of head coach.
Before that, Jikia last appeared on the field in a match against Fakel (0:2) in Voronezh on March 10 as part of the RPL.
